On the 28th, 29th, and 30th of March 2023, history was made in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with the first-ever Physical Podcast Training. This groundbreaking initiative spearheaded by EUth Voices for Social Change is the first of a series of podcasts training that will be implemented both physically in Gran Canaria, and online for aspiring podcasters from Greece, Italy, and Spain. The pioneering curriculum development and execution of the trainings was brilliantly executed by Fundacion Farrah, the coordinator of the project.

The three-day workshop in Las Palmas afforded fourteen young people from the region an unprecedented opportunity to learn the intricacies of podcast making. Divided into three distinct modules, the training focused on The Theory of Podcast Planning, Content Creation and Production, and Publication and Promotion. The participants were taken through the rudiments of podcasting, from creating a podcast script to effectively using podcast production platforms, and promoting their completed episodes.

The EUth Voices for Social Change initiative aims to leverage podcasts as a useful and modern tool to inspire and motivate young people in promoting their ideas and voices to the European community. The program seeks to empower young people with the skills and knowledge to create engaging podcasts, thereby providing them with a platform to contribute to the crucial conversations that shape our world. With this initiative, EUth Voices for Social Change is setting the pace for a new generation of podcasters who are poised to make a significant impact on the global community.
