Webinar Series: #2 How to write an ESC project

The second webinar entitled “#2 How to write an ESC project” of the Capacity Building for EU webinar series was held on February 8th from 4-6:30 PM Central European Time. The webinar was part of the Erasmus KA2 Project “EUth Voices for Social Change” and aimed to raise awareness among young people from Greece, Italy, and Spain about the European Solidarity Corps and how to write a winning proposal.

Spyridoula Loukopoulou, Project & Partnerships Manager of Youthmakers Hub, kicked off the event by warmly welcoming the participants and introducing the inspiring speakers. Olympia Kalogianni, Communication Officer of the European Solidarity Corps in Greece, gave a comprehensive overview of the objectives, priorities, and structure of ESC, emphasizing the significance of youth engagement.

In the second half of the webinar, Marilena Maragkou, Co-founder and Project Coordinator of Youthmakers Hub, took the participants through the step by step process of applying for ESC funding. She emphasized the importance of answering “Why, How and What” before submitting a proposal and finding the right team to support your project.

The webinar was an interactive session, giving the participants the chance to ask questions, participate in discussions, and explore the world of the European Solidarity Corps Program.
